The Willows at Brandow Point
Spring is fleeting, and so are the earliest flowers to emerge in the season! Known as spring ephemerals, these short-lived flowers found throughout the forest floor provide pollen resources to early emerging pollinators. Join GLT volunteer Kelsey West on a walk through the trails at Brandow Point to find representative species and learn about their role in the ecosystem. Bring a camera to capture their blooms while you can! Please be prepared for a hilly, outdoor walk.
