Date: Saturday, August 30, 2025
Time: 8:00pm – 9:30pm
Location: The Willows at Brandow Point (Outdoors)
Cost: $10 + fees
Join us for a nighttime exploration of the fields and forests of Brandow Point, right on the banks of the Hudson River. Twilight is a time of transition and magic, and we’ll keep our eyes and ears open for owls and for the chorus of katydids and other nocturnal insects that make late summer nights so magical. Human cultures have long directed their gaze towards the heavens, and as darkness falls, we’ll also talk about importance of the stars & the moon for Northeastern Native peoples.
This family-friendly event will be on the widest and gentlest trails. We will move at a slow pace and do not plan on using artificial light. Please wear sturdy, protective footwear and bring a jacket, as the temperature may drop at night.
Space for this event is limited, reserve your spot today! Tickets are available on Greene Land Trust’s Eventbrite page.
