GLT Receives Grants
GLT is proud to announce that we have received three grants totaling more than $36,000 from the Land Trust Alliance Partnership Grant program. Most of the funds will help us to hire our first part time staff person (more about that in a few days). Remaining funds help to cover our costs for acquiring two conservation easements that were generously donated by land owners. Each of the grants requires GLT to provide a cash match from its own funds.
These grants are funded by the Environmental Protection Fund through the Department of Environmental Conservation.

Willows at Brandow Point
Saturday September 29, 2018 2-5:30
The Willows, 480 Rt 385 Athens, NY
An afternoon of music at the Willows at Brandow Point.
Wickers Creek Band at the Willows September 29, 2018
The event kicked off at 2 PM with music by Wickers Creek Band. They performed an eclectic mix of traditional American music, primarily in the Bluegrass tradition.
They were followed by Breakneck Ridge Revue , a folk "jam band" of Hudson Valley musicians building twangy but danceable sets around a mix of traditional and original songs ranging from blues to folk to rock -- from John Prine to the Beatles -- but always with a homegrown feel.
The weather was wonderful and all who attended enjoyed the afternoon. Food and beverages were provided by Crossroads Brewery and Best of the Wurst.
Just like Subaru-- Dog Tested and Dog Approved. Really good hot dogs from Best of the Wurst.
