Manager of Outreach and Development

Greene Land Trust (GLT) is looking for a Manager of Outreach and Development to work approximately 15-20 hours per week. The Manager of Outreach and Development will work with the President and members of the Board of Directors to provide support for fundraising, communication, and outreach activities that enable Greene Land Trust (GLT) to accomplish its mission. The GLT office is at the Willows at Brandow Point, the GLT’s property in Athens NY, however most of the work can be performed remotely.

Applicants should demonstrate an ability to work independently and work well with others, have proficiency with modern computer applications and a willingness to learn new applications, and show personal interest in the conservation of land and natural resources. Strong written and verbal communication skills and an aptitude for relationship-building are essential. Experience in fundraising for not-for-profit organizations, social media strategies, and website content management is preferred.

The work schedule is flexible; evening and weekend work and travel to various locations in Greene County is occasionally required.

The Manager of Outreach and Development will be paid approximately $25 per hour, depending upon hours and experience.
