Kelsey West, Greene Land Trust Board member and Environmental Educator will lead a tree identification walk at the Willows at Brandow Point on Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 10:00am – noon. The morning will start with a discussion about basic terminology, techniques used in dichotomous keys, and tips for tree identification. Then, we will take a walk along the trails and apply our knowledge!
If you have a tree ID book or a hand lens, feel free to bring it! Please dress appropriately for an outdoor, woodland walk.
The event is limited to 20 participants ages 8 and up. Cost is $10 (plus a $2.51 registration fee).
