7:30pm
Cornell Hook and Ladder Company, Gill Road, New Baltimore, NY
In cooperation with the New Baltimore Conservancy, we are inviting you to a meeting on Thursday, February 9 at 7:30 pm at the Cornell Hook and Ladder Company on Gill Rd in the hamlet of New Baltimore to learn about an exciting and ongoing project that will inventory all the existing and potential river access locations from the confluence of the Mohawk and Hudson Rivers in Waterford, NY south to the New Jersey state line.
This current inventory and recommendation phase includes the shorelines in Albany and Greene counties. Learn how you can add your input and suggestions for your favorite shoreline access sites. This program builds off of, and greatly expands the work done in Scenic Hudson’s January 2020 Hudson River Access Plan.
Peter Melewski, President of the New Baltimore Conservancy, will be the speaker. Peter was a primary author of the 2020 report, and he is currently working with Scenic Hudson on the 2023 report. Peter will explain the program, and what it means to local residents from Coeymans Hollow south to Catskill, using an array of images and photographs.
The meeting is at the Cornell Hook and Ladder Company on Gill Rd in the hamlet of New Baltimore. It’s free and open to the public, we hope you will join us!
