Featured in many of Tiffany's works of glass are beautiful images of Damsel and Dragonflies and their  ancestors have been found in 325 million year old fossils.

Both damsel and dragonflies spend a portion of their early life in water. Both in their immature stage and adults, they are predators, eating other insects!  But while predatory, they are some of the friendliest insects you will ever meet!

To learn more about these elegant creatures join us for a walk on Saturday July 13 at 10 AM.  The walk will be lead by GLT board member Larry Federman, behind the Serta plant in Coxsackie.

The program is free, but registration is required.  Call 518-731-5544 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to register or for more information.
