GLT Receives Grant from Hudson River Estuary Program
We had a great turnout for our birdhouse building event with 40+ kids of all ages coming to the Willows to build a birdhouse and birdfeeder to take home, take a hike, learn to use binoculars, and roll down the hill. Thanks to the Athens Sportsmen’s Club for preparing the birdhouse kits and helping with the building. And thanks to the Athens Community Foundation for helping the Sportsmen pay for the materials.
Budding architects created some innovative homes for the fairies at the Willows at Brandow Point. Thanks to all the architects and their assistants for another fun day of fairy house building.
