Peggy is the secretary, director and IDA representative on the board.  She works as the Office Manager of the Greene IDA.  Peggy is the past president of the Capital Region Blue Star Mothers.  She is a Peer Mentor with Heroes at Home of Rensselaer County.  Peggy is the secretary for the Village of Athens Planning Board and sits as a member on the Athens Community Foundation.  She is a volunteer with the West Athens Lime-Street Volunteer Fire Company and volunteered for many years with Catskill Rescue Squad as an EMT.  Peggy and her husband Paul like to travel and visit with their children and spend time at their second home in Cape Cod.

    "Lawson",(Hilary and Eric) gave a memorable performance last year that was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended and we are delighted to have them back for this evening of good food and music.

    Holiday Open House at the Willows

    Join us on December 1 to celebrate the season!  Once again this year we will have the Willows at Brandow Point decorated and open to the public for a free event on Saturday. 

    Local author and illustrator, Hudson Talbott will be doing a book signing from 2:30 to 4 with three of his books:  "River of Dreams -The Story of the Hudson River," "United Tweets of America: 50 State Birds Their Stories, Their Glories," and his new book "Picturing America:Thomas Cole and the Birth of American Art."

    We will have a simple holiday craft for kids to make, and of course refreshments.  We hope you will stop by to see progress on the restoration of this beautiful old house and visit with us about our plans and events for the coming year.
